“I don’t know what to say.”

Mills took the phone away from her ear to look at it, and then she shook her head and put it back to her ear. Money could be so weird sometimes.

“So.. knowing that,  you still called me?”Mills asked.

“I know.” Money sighed.

“Alright..” Mills chuckled.

“Let’s start with your birthday. How was it?”

“It was really nice.” Money said. “I just got a room by the mall.”

“Which mall?” Mills asked.

“Tyson’s Corner.”

“Oh ok, that sounds nice.”

“It was. Brianna happened to be in the area, so she stopped by the hotel and brought me a cupcake, and then we went swimming.”

“Oh, I’m jealous.” Mills pretended to have an attitude.

“I know, I’m sorry. It was last minute. She didn’t stay long anyway. I just ended up washing my hair, painting my nails, and then I spent the rest of the night in the jacuzzi, just refilling it with hot water.”

“That sounds relaxing.”

“It was.”

“Did you do any shopping?”

“Well, I spent the entire day after, at the mall with Fame.”

There was an awkward silence.

“Interesting..” Mill said in only that way that she could.

“Did he stay the night with you?”

“Nope.” Money sighed again. “I wanted him to.. but I knew it wasn’t time yet. We just walked and talked for almost the whole day. We had lunch, and it was just good.”

“It sounds like it.” Mills smiled happily.

She knew how Money felt about Fame. She hoped that her friend could have the man of her dreams. That would be beautiful.

“He invited me to go skiing in a couple of weeks.” Money stated just to see what Mills had to say about the whole situation.

“I think you should do it, Money. Who knows, you could really fall in love.”

“I know.” Tears came to Money’s eyes just thinking of it.

“It could be good.” Mills said.

“I know.”

“I’m getting off the phone with you.” Mills laughed. “You been smokin’ weed?”

“A little bit.” Money giggled. “I’ll talk to you later.” She said before hanging up.
